News from the Committee

Roundabout is a charity which means it relies on a committee to ensure the running of the pre-school. We’re always looking for parents to join us on the Committee so please do get in touch with us, via the Roundabout team, if you’re interested in assisting or speak to our chair, Becki at the gate in the morning.

Roundabout is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join the team on a part-time basis from September 2022. If you know of anyone or would like more details, please speak to Adele or email roundaboutplaygroup@yahoo.co.uk.

Places for September

If you want to add or make changes to your child’s session from September, please send me an email at alatroundabout@gmail.com. If you know any families who are looking for a Pre-School place in September, then please signpost them to our website (www.roundaboutpreschool.org.uk).

The SUN has got his hat on

We would ask that you apply 8 or 12-hour sun screen to your child’s face and body first thing in the morning – this would mean that we do not have to stop them from playing to reapply sun cream.  Can we ask that you check the brand of sun cream that you use as some, for instance, Nivea contain almond oil. We have a child in the setting who will have a severe reaction to products containing almond oil, so please check the ingredients in any products you use.

We take pride in ensuring that your child’s well-being is cared for, therefore, if a child does attend Roundabout without subscreen, they will only be permitted to go outdoors for up to twenty minutes in the morning and the afternoon on sunny days.
