November 2022
Dear Parents/carers,
We hope all children and parents have been happy with their first term at Roundabout. The children have settled in well and are making new friends.
A ‘Thank You’ goes to all our staff; they have worked very hard to ensure the smooth transition of all our children. We hope you are happy with our staff and their work with your children. However, if you have any concerns, please feel free to chat with Adele about this.
Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that we have a new member of staff, Rebecca Brown, starting at Roundabout on Monday, 7th November. Childcare is a passion of hers and we look forward to welcoming her to the Roundabout family.
Coming up
Roundabout is a committee-led community pre-school. The committee is a voluntary group, like a governing body, and consists of past and present parents/carers of Roundabout children. Committee members are known as trustees. Trustees have ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of Roundabout and ensuring that it is solvent, well-run and delivering the charitable outcomes for the benefit of the public for which it has been set up. The committee meets regularly, usually in the Chair’s house as well as once a year at the AGM.
This year’s AGM will take place on 15th November at 8 pm at the Grove Centre
(New Street, Horsforth, Leeds, LS18 4BH - on site car park & street parking).
If you would like to get more involved, have a few hours to spare and/or would like to become part of the committee we would love to see you there!
Please do not hesitate to contact a Committee member or member of staff, if you have any questions in the meantime.
